THE UNIVERSE
Non of us really knows what this universe is. There is no exact definition for it. But, we define it as "everything."
No one can tell exactly when, how, where or why it began. All we know is that we are a part of it. There are many different ideas about universe. different from era to era, Religion to religion or person to person
The Universe and The lord Buddha.
According to Lord Buddha, It is not appropriate for humans to search about the universe. It would be a useless activity because It is not a reachable knowledge for humans. But Buddhists refuses the Belief that the Universe was Created by god. Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. it is all about meditation, self reflection and the Reality, not worship. this allows much more flexibility within Buddhism. The Bodhisattva once told, "the future and past do not exist;
it is always the present." "Creation" is irrelevant to a
well focused Buddhist.
It was not created by a creator god, nor has it appeared from nothing in any other way.
Christian's beliefs about the Universe.
"I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have
stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded."
"Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched
them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of
it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them
that walk therein."
Many Christians literally believes that the the God created the universe.
Muslims beliefs about the universe
"Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds."
Muslim's belief is similar Christians. But, they believe the big bang theory. They believe that the god made the universe through it. it is said that it was in the Quran before scientists even discovered it.
The modern Science and The Universe.
Modern scientists has not yet found an definite answer for the Universe. But according to the current understanding the Universe consists of three principles: space-time, forms of energy, including momentum and matter, and the physical laws that relate them."nothing appears from nothing, and nothing disappears into nothingness - everything is just constant flux and change: matter changes form, matter becomes energy, energy becomes matter, planets, solar systems and galaxies form and dissolve, but the matter/energy sum stays. Everything depends on causes and conditions"
